It was a long drive. We saw a lot of farms along the way. Cows & corn fields for days. Chris said, "the corn better be cheap in Ohio!"
We are loving our apartment already even though our stuff hasn't quite made it yet. It was delayed and so we are sleeping on the floor with a little blanket to share between us. We do have our computer though! We should be getting the rest of our stuff moved tomorrow night.
Yesterday, we bought a bed and a couch. The most money I have ever spent at a single store to date. It was fun though, to lay on all the beds and pick out a couch in my taste.
We did make it to church today and was happy to meet one of Chris's future classmates in the ward. There were lots of young families attending Schools around the area. Thank heavens for the support the LDS church brings. Like an instant family. We even have dinner plans tonight so we don't have to eat the frozen pizzas awaiting us in the fridge.
One thing is for sure, I have missed reading all your blogs the last few weeks. I am excited to get caught up!

You can't really appreciate the Church fully until you've moved. There's nothing like having an instant family when you need one.

So glad you guys made it safely! I can't believe you're gone already... for some reason I thought we had more time to say goodbye. Sad! You better update your blog every day (once you get settled) so we know what's going on with you!

Love reading your updates and seeing the pictures. Nice carpet. I'm sure there will be pics of couches, cabinets, etc. Exciting to see you on your way in Cleveland.

Oh the memories you two are making! You will look back on these days as some of the best...you know you will laugh about arriving with no furniture someday. I must say the corn around these parts is AMAZING - seriously delectable.
