goodbye Utah...almost

Packing. that's what we've been up to. Well, after one serious month of living the good life. Trips, friends, shopping - gotta get it in while we can I guess, and we did! {some very exciting picture-filled posts to come when I have nothing but time to kill in OH - stay tuned.}

Right now, our stuff is loaded on some truck headed for Ohio. phew. Chris and I have just been playing today which feels nice. Just gearing up for our big road trip next week. We leave on Tuesday morning. It's slowly setting in. I'm excited, then sad, then Excited! then sad. Excited during the day, and sad during the night (the night does that to me).

We're driving 25 hours in 3 days (with a few shanty hotel stops along the way somewhere in Nebraska? and Illinois?) should be interesting and tiring. We officially move into our apartment on Friday. I will be glad when that day is over and all the boxes are up the 3 flights of stairs and sitting in our apartment. Fingers crossed nothing is seriously damaged beyond repair - although, it's just stuff right?

I guess i am signing off from Utah. I am sorry if I wasn't able to give a proper goodbye to whom i adore in person (you know who you are.) Really, it's more like see you later. and if Ohio somehow tickles your fancy, we like visitors.

Ohio, here we come.

If you ever feel like a familiar voice.... don't hesitate to call me. and like you say, its just a see you later.

It was really fun to get to know you Chris... I am glad it took him soooo long to get into a program.. jk Chris. school is important but so is your foot speed, maybe you can beat me in a few years.... golf might take a little longer ;)

I love you guys... wishing you the BEST

Katie I was the same way. I held everything together during the day and then at night I just cried. We were living with Drew's family so I had some awkward nights:) If you guys want to take a little detour and need a place to stay, we would love to see you all.

Katie-we were so looking forward to seeing you guys today and saying our goodbyes. I am so sorry about the whole swine flu thing. You guys will be missed,the boys have grown to love you so much! I don't know what we'll do when we we have our dinners at moms and dads and you guys are not there. It will just be our little family-that is so sad!
I know what you are about to do is so scary, but I have no doubt in my mind that you will be happy there-you are just that sort of person. Friends will flock to you! And Christmas is only 5 months away and you will be with family again. We love you guys so much and wish you nothing but happiness!

Good luck lady! The drive away is one of the hardest parts (in my opinion). I'm glad you've been living the good life before life gets too crazy. If you are in for a longer road trip, we'd love to see you in MN :)

Okay, well I guess I better stop being in denial now. I'm going off to cry. You and Chris are going on a great journey and I am sooo excited for you both (even if I hate the thoughts of how far away you'll be). I want to try to sneak in a "see you later" tomorrow if you have time. I'll call xoxox

Sounds like an adventure...! But I'm sure you will be missing your family. Hopefully you will get lots of visits.

Good luck with it all, Katie

Ohio doesn't know what's comin!! You two are going to tear up the town and be such a great addition to the program. I love you both and wish you lots of great times ahead. I know you feel you are moving away, but let's face it, you're just moving closer to me! So you better visit...and often. See you soon :)
