April 1st is his birthday. Yesterday he turned 30! We had a relaxing conference Sunday. I made him some of his favorite foods (Poppy-seed chicken with Rice for dinner and brownies for dessert). It was very low key ... just how he would want it.
I just feel very lucky. Lucky to know him and to have him around. I even made a list of 30 things I love about him and it wasn't even hard to come up with them. I keep thinking of more things too. Like how good he smells, and how he has this ability to laugh at me when I am being snarky instead of getting mad. He comes over and wraps me in his arms and won't let me go because he tells me, "you really needed one of these". He is right, his hugs are The. Best.
