I am so stoked on my latest craigslist purchase, I just had to show it off. I have been searching and searching for the perfect antique to use as an TV stand. I got this depression era buffet yesterday for a measly $20 beans thanks to my girl, Abby, who emailed me the second she saw it.



Chris couldn't believe someone would give something like this away. I agree, I feel so lucky to have it. I am still trying to decide if I am going to paint it or refinish it. For now, I like the way it looks all beat up. Some new cute knobs are definitely going on asap.



Our front room is still a work in progress... let's be honest, all the rooms in our apartment need some work! It has been a little hard for me to define my decorating style and what it is that I like. I need a vision. Let's just say, I don't have as much of a knack for interior decor as I was hoping.

Plus, it's hard to make it feel like home when you are renting. I hesitate to put things on the walls and we can't paint etc. But, we are slowly making it work.
