Just a few thrift store Knick Knacks I've picked up in the last couple of weeks.
I love to thrift shop. Luckily I have found a friend who likes it as much as I do. We have fun finding little treasures among the mess. And we are so proud of ourselves when we do :)
I think my favorite find of the week are the colorful mugs. I just love how they brighten up my kitchen cabinet among my other mint & cream dishes.
And my morning grapefruit fits perfectly in this one. Major bonus.
Also, I spoiled myself & got my hair done this past week. I decided to get highlights. Something new & bright for summer. I like it cause it hides those pesky grays. My husband says I look like a new woman! I kind of feel like one too.
Sorry for the pictures of my frizzy hair. It was rainy&muggy today so I went curly. Probably wasn't the best time for a close-up. Oh well.
Chris is almost done with Finals. Only one more week until
Pray for us, mostly for him.

Love your hair Katie! Sorry I didn't mention it today when I saw you! Also, let me know when you go thrifting again, I'd love to go. I try to go several times a week and have scored big time on shoes, new too! You'll have to tell me where you have been going.

2. Love your highlights and I think you have gorgeous hair. Embrace the curl. Because in the end, and especially on rainy/humid days, there's nothing else you can do.

I love the old books ... nick's a huge fan and we had a bunch of cool ones that had to go away once seth started walking! haha ... maybe someday they'll re-surface in our house! :)

I too am a thrift store lover--you got some great finds! I love the polka dot mugs:) I actually have two of your soup mugs (the Campbells ones) and I used one the other day and was remembering our days at the white house:)
Aaah, this brings back memories of my thrift storing days. Such a high to find cute one-of-a-kind stuff for a great price. We have to go together sometime. Love the new hair - I'm going for highlights this summer too and hoping it hides the greys. Yeah, we'll be twinners :)
