This photo was not photoshop'd at all, the sunset was that crazy amazing!
The first day we got there, we went straight to Laguna beach and spent the entire day there. It was a hot day, and the beach had a lot of seaweed...which incidentally stained my favorite beach shorts with tar...but other than that, we had a good day.
This picture I caught while my niece was scooping up water for her sandcastle, and a bird happened to be flying by at the same time. It may be my favorite shot of the entire week.

We walked down to some cool tide pools to check out the crabs. They weren't very shy either, so we had to watch our toes!

One of the last days we were in California, we went to my favorite place, the beach at Balboa Island. It is an enormous beach with big waves and lots of amazing homes. I took the most pictures here.

It was hard to leave California, we had such a great time. I can't think of anything better than the beach. The only con was that my sister Mindy & fam could not come - we missed you guys!
I can't wait to go back!
