stay-cation

Chris and I had one of THOSE weekends. You know, where everything just kind of falls into place. We had lots of family time and even a nice romantic get-a-way to Park City aka: our staycation. It was a blast and an awesome way to end a great week and begin another. Here is the photo recap.

on Friday some of the kiddos came over for a "beach" party (sans the beach) in my parents yard. After a good hour of trying to figure out how to blow-up the baby pool, we finally got it. They loved playing in the freezing water and we loved watching them.

Then we were off to Ben's 5th birthday party. He could hardly wait to open gifts, he kept telling everyone, "hurry up and eat so I can open my presents!" I love photographing this kid. the camera loves him; he is such a ham!

and waiting...

Finally it was time to open gifts!

Chris thought it would be fun to get Ben gallons of bubble solution. I think he liked it!

After the party we rushed up to Park City in hopes of not missing the sunset...and we made it. It was so nice to go somewhere new for a night. it was so peaceful up there too. I love that mountain air.

night...

day...

Lastly, according to the poll, i will be entering picture #2 into the Shade Photo contest. Thanks for your votes!
