lake side saturday

We headed out to get closer to Mt Rainer (which we are lucky enough to spot from our deck at home). After some stops along the road to take in the view, we happened upon a beautiful place called Alder Lake. People were swimming, boating, sunning and eating around us. We sat on a blanket and just took it all in. It was the perfect send off to summer. Although I was wishing we had a jet ski and our swim suits...next time! And I actually remembered my real camera this time.  I was glad to have it to capture the day. Washington you are beautiful! And, we haven't even scratched the surface of things to see and do here yet.  I think I'm in heaven.
