I'm not sad to see 2012 go. It wasn't my favorite year. Between infertility, stomach inflammation, an endoscopy procedure, IVF and morning sickness, I have seen the doctor more times than I can count in one year. Looking back, I can say, I am grateful it is over and glad I was able to get through it all. The sickness and sadness and worry and waiting all paid off for the best ... and I survived it.
Of course it wasn't all hard days. We managed to have some fun too. And most important, we witnessed a miracle with this baby in my belly. When I look back at 2012 - that is the one experience I want to take with me.
I am so looking forward to 2013. There will be a lot of changes for us this year. We will become a family of three in April. We will end our time here in May when Chris graduates dental school. We will move somewhere totally new and start a paying JOB! There is lots to do and lots to anticipate. 2013 just might be the best year yet ... at least a girl can hope.
