My parents came to visit. Aren't they cute?! They came at the perfect time when the trees were at their Fall peak. We were able to meet up with my sister+fam too now that they live in Columbus. My parents spoiled us (as they always do) treating us to dinners out etc. It was so refreshing to be together again, I was sad to see them go. I love my family!

People have been asking if I have had morning sickness. The answer is yes. I am now almost 15 weeks and I am still pretty gaggy. I am

I voted bright and early today. I have felt the passion from both sides during this election, even in my small community of friends. I feel lucky to live in Ohio during this important time. I can't wait to see which way this baby swings!

I have been pricing out what we need to buy for this baby and whoa, it is not cheap! We are hoping to get by with the bare minimum because we will be moving the same month the babe arrives. Any advice on what you can't live with out?

I have some new holiday photo card designs in my etsy shop. You buy the digital file and then print where you like. If you are going to print your own Christmas cards this year, I have heard great things about Moo.com

It feels like winter here. already. The leaves are pretty scarce thanks to Frankenstorm. For some reason, I am more excited for the snow than I have ever been before... I have a feeling my tune will change when things get real come January.

Only one pair of my pants still fit. I went out and got me some maternity jeans for my belly's sake. Thank heavens there are options for keeping some style during this puffy time. Bless you H+M.

We are sticking around for the holidays this year. I am kind of excited to get a tree and spend the season in our home. It will be our last just me+him :)

We've been watching mucho Netflix online lately. Right now we are watching the 2nd season of Prison Break. There are quite a few shows we missed when they were actually on TV. Hours of entertainment, I tell ya. I do wish they had a better movie selection though!

If you are looking for an easy gift for Christmas this year....check out this idea from last year. It was a hit.

Your parents look great. We sure miss them around here!
Glad your morning sickness is improving.
Sure hope your vote swung it over to Mitt in Ohio!
;)
How fun to see your parents. They haven't changed a bit...your mom is as cute as ever! So glad things are progressing well with your pregnancy. Couldn't be happier for you! xo
I've been doing bare minimum with this baby, because we had gotten rid of most of our baby gear before we moved out of state. We've got clothes and blankets, diapers and wipes, a convertible car-seat (won't have to buy another when he's ready to sit facing forward), a pack-n-play (much cheaper than a regular crib, and more portable), and I have a wrap.
I change him on my bed or the couch (and I saved the pad from our change table, but it's not a necessity.) We don't have a swing or bouncy chair, I just put him in the wrap, he's happy to be close to me, and my hands are free to get things done. We already had a stroller, but he hasn't been in it yet, because I wear him all the time.
Hope this helps. And congratulations. :)
love it katie...i can see a lot of you in your parents! maternity jeans are the bomb. who wants to squeeze into regular jeans when the others are so much better? haha. and don't worry about getting a ton of stuff for baby because really all you need is some plain comfy onesies and a carseat. cute clothes? they'll spit up and poop on them every hour. it's true. crib they probably won't even sleep in for awhile. just get a basinet thingy and have baby sleep in your room! much easier during feedings at night. hope you feel better soon. so excited for you and this fun time in your life! oh! and enjoy all those Netflix nights because once baby comes it will be harder to get alone down time. soak it up and snuggle that hubby hard... being a mom is the BEST but it's also very tiring! enjoy your sleep while you can. you're going to be such a great momma.
I'm glad you're feeling not too terrible - and it will get better! Fun stuff having your first Christmas at home. My son and family did that last year and loved it. Hadn't realized what they were missing! I agree with you on Netflix movies. They need to branch out with the online stuff.
Love your cocoa gifts! I did that (not Starbucks though - that's even better!) a couple of years ago and it's something everyone loves.
Enjoy the season with your lovely little belly.
My 2 favorites are a pack n play. It's portable so until you are settled its a great crib alternative. You can get them with a bassinet too. A sound machine! I swear by these. My babies slept so well and if traveling, packing etc they have it they sleep really well too because of the consistency. Not hard to ween them either
adorable parents!
H&M makes maternity clothes?
aw, brilliant! hope you feel better.
