operation fun

We are trying to put back the fun in our lives. Less couch, more adventure. Fun can become secondary when you've got no dollars, a stressful schedule, and a comfortable marriage. But, don't let the countless weekend nights of rented movies fool you, we are loads of fun! Just ask us and we'll tell you... ha. 


The husband has a little break between semesters so we took a day trip and explored a new lake beach.  Headlands State Park was a fun surprise - it was ha-uge! After playing some cards + relaxing by the water, we went on a little hike to get a closer look at the lighthouse.  The trail was lined with lots of greenery and big slabs of rock. It was beautiful and a little dangerous hiking in our flimsy sandals. Just the right amount of danger actually. I'd say "the operation" was a success.
