On Saturday we went with some
good friends to Put in Bay Island. It is an island in the middle of lake Erie. You can only get there by boat so, we took a ferry over. It normally is a pleasant calm and quiet ride, but we chose an extra windy day so it felt like we were crossing the ocean. I was surprised I was able to handle myself - I usually always get motion sickness. It was definitely worth the bumpy ride. The island was a lot of fun.
We went mini-golfing, and toured a tiny chocolate museam (and ate some too).
We rented a golf cart and rode around the island checking out the scenery. 2 churches and 60 bars...it is known as a bit of a "party island".
we came across this sweet sunflower patch. We jumped out of the golf cart and took a bunch of pictures.
It was a really fun day and nice to take a little day trip. I recommend it to all you Ohio residents!

yes, it really does look fun. Reminds me of the island in the middle of the lake that I look upon from window. The pictures of you and your hubby always make me smile. We girls always look always so extremely happy, and the boys always look kind of surprised?
Yeah! So much fun! We had a blast with you guys ... we need to plan more weekend trips together in the next few years!
