him: studying/checking stats on ESPN.com
we are sitting side by side yet in our own worlds.
Me: listening to "Party in the USA" by Miley Cyrus (yes. you heard correct. it is my guilty pleasure dance-when-i'm-home-alone song. don't judge me, i know you have one too.)
Him: listening to "Death Cab For Cutie" themed songs on Pandora radio.
Sometimes I feel like my house is full of power cords, but we do our best not to let it run our lives. We keep one rule: no media during mealtime. It makes for some nice uninterrupted chats. and is usually my favorite part of the day.

I love the dual laptop action. When does Chris have finals? Does he have school in the summer? And when will you be in Utah?
Your laptop could take his out. Not sure what that means, but it struck me funny.

Sue- yes, my laptop is mammoth - i purchased a huge one on purpose so I can see images better for editing. And, Chris didn't have a choice with his - it was provided by the school.
Kristin - I just set the timer on the camera and then jump in the picture. It is kind of ridiculous when you think about it but - i try and recreate the moment as it happens :)
Caljo- Chris is done with school early May. We should be in Utah mid June through July.
I love this. It's just fun being next to each other weather you're doing the same thing or not. And, love Chris's noise eliminating head phones...do you have some secret sign to let him know you have something to say? You guys are too cute.

You two are like my husband and me. We're both on our computers, doing our own things, yet we're keeping each other company. It's a good life.
Yep, Jason and I do the same thing. We are in the same room and yet in seperate worlds doing our own thing. I guess it comes along with being a computer savy tech generation!;)
I am so glad we can be blog buds now too. love this post by the way. It reminds me of trev and me. Completely one hundred percent. And yes, I will see you thursday. So excited.
i totally jam to Miley too! I feel the same way, sometimes it's too funny. I actually facebook chated with nick the other day when he was upstairs! I am ridiculous!
