I haven't always felt lucky in life. But, when it comes to my parents, I know that I am. They are the patient, loving, supportive, forgiving, selfless, wise kind of parents. They are the kind of parents that are there-for-you-no-matter-what and I know that to be true because my siblings and I have tested that theory over the years...
They are not perfect (even though sometimes it's hard for me to believe) and they don't pretend to be. And that is why I love them. And that is why, I want to be home for the holidays. And that is why, I am one lucky daughter.
I snapped a few pictures of them for their Christmas cards this year. These are a few they didn't choose...

{families are forever...thank goodness!}

Those two don't seem to age at all. Love the pictures and love and miss you girlfriend.
We love them, too. Hug them for us, okay?
=)
PS. And Merry Christmas! Mine are coming home Wednesday. =D
I seriously love your parents! They are everything you said and then some. We all love coming over and seeing them.
Kates, I forget for a second you are in Utah, and then I can't believe I haven't seen you! I guess my Christmas break seems like it hasn't started yet. I have church stuff tonight that usually goes to 10, and then tomorrow our work party, but maybe after? a short swing by?! I hate knowing you are a short skip away and not laying eyes on ya, but if you go to Provo before I make it over, lets get some times together with us/cal and have some good quality time!! I can't wait.
love ya!
