a great day on a great lake
we took a day trip to one of the many Lake Erie beaches yesterday. I'm not really sure you could call it a beach since there was no waves or salty water or seaweed. However, there was sand and seagulls and a lifeguard on duty so this California girl was almost convinced. It was actually really really great (for lack of a better word) and just what the doctor ordered.

I remember the "beach" when we lived in Chicago. Somehow that sorta smelly lake didn't quite do it for me, but you're right. It was better than nothing!
