I never got into the Harry Potter books. Never dressed up as Hermione for Halloween or stood in line at midnight for a book release. In fact, to be honest, I never understood the Potter craze. I got that it was fun and new and even enjoyed a few of the movies, but I couldn't figure out why everyone was so obsessed over a book about tweens.
Well the Twilight series has become my very own Harry Potter. I have never been one to get excited about reading. In fact, until this point, I have never read a book unless it was forced upon me by a boss, a teacher, or some other authority figure. Who would have thought that this teenage vampire love saga has me under it's thumb? I have read most of the books in 3-days or less (keep in mind my current un-employed situation) and I am more than excited for the movie to come out this fall.
Now, I don't plan on joining any fan clubs or having lengthy discussions about the characters as if they are my close friends, but it did get me excited about reading. For that, I will be always grateful.

I am obsessed with these books too! But I must say that I am a Harry Potter fan too. But just like you, I can read these books in a couple of days because they are too good to put down. Your new place looks cute:)
Katie-I love these books too and I defeinatly cant wait for the movie to come out!!
All of the young women here are obsessed with Twilight. My friends have even jumped into them so I guess I'll have to give them a gander.
