Wii are Obsessed

We have been looking for a Wii gaming system for a few weeks. For those of you who don't own one, they are hard to come by. Stores get them in randomly and only a few at a time. I tried finding one for Chris's birthday but, alas, no one had them in stock.

Chris went to target the other day and there it was! In his own words:
"it was meant to be".

For awhile there, I was struggling with whether or not to take the plunge and invest in another game system that would inevitably become obsolete in a couple years.

Chris's convincing pro-Wii arguments sounded like:

"But, Katie, this would help us get more friends."

-and-

"If you think about it, it would really be a way of working out because we actually have to move instead of typical game systems that require no energy."

In the end, I gave-in. Chris was right. He woke up soar after playing the Wii sports game that is included (we don't get out much, it's too darn cold!). As for more friends, I guess this is my official invitation for a fun night full of virtual sports! Who knows, we may get crazy and try the real thing sometime!

I gave in on getting a wii last summer too!

You'll learn to love the wii! Nick decided we should take controllers over there next time and all four play together! Also, you totally need to borrow my high school musical game ... it rocks! :)

That is awesome. Good buy. Love the title. I'm down with a little Wii action anytime. xoxo

We have not owned any gaming system yet (and probably won't until we're retired), so we absolutely need to be BEST friends now so we can always crash your Wii party. Perhaps we could just have a spare key for when we're in town?
